WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN
PORTRAIT SESSION?
The best time to schedule your session is before your little one is born. This way you can rest assured that your newborn photo shoot will occur within 3 weeks of birth, the very best time to get the sweetest photographs.
HOW DO I BOOK WITHOUT KNOWING MY SESSION DATE?
Your due date will be your session date so that we can be sure that you are on my calendar for that month.
Once your baby is born, all you have to do is send me an email and from there we'll schedule a definitive session date and time within the first 3 weeks of your baby's arrival.
HOW SOON SHOULD I HAVE MY NEWBORN SESSION
AFTER GIVING BIRTH?
Newborns tend to stay sound asleep a few weeks after birth and because of this we are able to gently move your little one into sweet poses.
After a couple of weeks, this is not as easy to do. After the 21 day mark babies may begin to stretch and the poses might not be as easy to accomplish.
CAN I INCORPORATE SIBLING AND FAMILY PHOTOS
WITH MY BABY?
Absolutely! Photographing your little one surrounded by family is an incredible experience for everyone involved.
HOW MUCH DO NEWBORN SESSIONS COST?
To view full pricing please check "collection" section. A $150 deposit is due at the time of booking and will be taken off your
package price when you choose your package.
HOW LONG WILL MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
SESSION TAKE?
Your session will take between 1-3 hours, depending on how settled bubby is on the day. Pausing to allow times for feeding and changing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable and the pace of our session will be determined by the baby.
MY BABY IS ALREADY BORN. AM I TOO LATE TO SCHEDULE A NEWBORN SESSION?
It's never too late !! Please get in touch and I will try my best to find a day that suits you.
MY BABY IS OVER 3 WEEKS, CAN I STILL GET PHOTOS?
Please do !!!! Not everyones birth adventure is the same and I know not everyone feels up to venturing out in the first three weeks. Rest assure I love photographing babies at any age and you still get amazing shots even if they are awake.
WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND ON MY IMAGES?
You will receive your images 3-4 weeks from your session date and be able to view them in an online gallery set up just for you!
WHERE DO THE STUDIO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Your session will take place in my private and cozy
Sweet Emotions Photography studio in North Kellyville, Sydney. Just bring yourself and your little bundle of joy and rest assured that the studio is fully stocked with all the necessary props, wraps, blankets etc.
WHO SUPPLIES ALL THE CUTE HATS/HEADBANDS FOR THE BABY?
I do! In my studio you will find a large supply of hats, headbands, and wraps that we can play with.
DO YOU OFFER MATERNITY PHOTO SHOOTS OR
BABY'S FIRST YEAR PLAN?
Yes! You can view details on my maternity photo session and "collection" section for the prices.
DO I SELECT MY COLLECTION BEFORE MY SESSION ?
No you don't need to select or pay for your package until you view your online gallery 3-4 weeks after your session.
